Transition
The word just means what the Primary School and the Comprehensive School can do to help you to move from one school to the other and what you can do to make sure that you keep doing well in school.
What if I am worried?
Everyone worries about moving schools, even if they tell you they don't!
We do lots of things to help you to get ready; we change things to make them better every year, and listen to what the Year 6 and 7 pupils tell us.
Our main Primary Schools are:
Rhws, St Athan, Wick, St Illtyd, Ysgol Y Ddraig.
Llantwit Major School works with your Primary Schools a lot so that the students and teachers know each other well.
Parent and Pupil Voice
Here at Llantwit Comprehensive we value the opinions of our stakeholders and we are constantly working closely with parents and students in order to continue improving our transition programme. Each year we carry out surveys in order to identify our strengths and any weaknesses so that we can continue to develop and improve transition.
Our Pupil / Parent Information Pack will give you more information about the school and how it operates and can be viewed here
