Parent Forum

The Parent Forum is an opportunity for all parents to be directly involved in school improvement work. It is a valuable way to share ideas, views, concerns and make suggestions regarding how we can make our school better.

The aims of the Parent Forum are to:

  • work together to improve the education we provide for our learners
  • share information, knowledge and skills
  • meet in a mutually supportive environment
  • further improve communications between parents/carers and school staff

We warmly invite all parents/carers to participate in parent forum. Each forum is led by a different member of the senior leadership team, according to the focus. At times other members of the school community will also attend the meetings depending on the agenda items and areas we feel we need to consult on with parents, such as new initiatives.

Parent forum meets each half term on a Monday at 6pm for about an hour at the school. We agree the agenda/foci as a group. So far in the 2025/26 academic year we have discussed our reporting and recording procedures and our engagement policy and rewards system. After each meeting the Headteacher provides an update on the discussion and follow up action points in Major News.

Parent Forum next meets on Monday 19th January at 6pm. Mrs Jones, Deputy Headteacher, will lead the session and the focus will be our learning and teaching approach.

We look forward to seeing you there!
