Key Stage 3 English
Pupils have eight English lessons a fortnight in Key Stage Three.
Please note that despite being in Key Stage Four in other subject departments, in English Year 9 pupils will not be studying for their English GCSE until Year 10 and therefore are still regarded as Key Stage Three. Pupils in Year 9 will be taught the appropriate skills to prepare them for the new WJEC English Specification, details of which are included in a PowerPoint in the information provided in the Year 9 links below.

In years 7 and 8 pupils are expected to complete homework projects alongside their learning in class; useful information regarding these can be found in the links below which will help you support your child in their learning.
