History
Students are taught history at Key Stage 3 and have the option to study the subject at both GCSE and GCE, A level.
Topics covered at Key Stage 3 include: 1066, The Black Death, King John, the Tudors and Stuarts, World War I and the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Key Stage 4 topics include: Depression, Wars and Recovery, Britain c1930-1951, USA 1910-29, Health and Medicine c 1340- Present day and 2 pieces of coursework: one on sources and one interpretation piece on World War I.
Key Stage 5 covers topics in the Twentieth Century in Britain and Germany, as well as the Tudors and Russia 1905-19
