Introduction

The standards of pupils' achievements is the main priority for the school's development and the school will aim to use  a wide range of evidence to identify staff development needs. The Staff Development and Shool Improvement Plan clearly link individual activities with whole school and departmental priorities and whole school priorities are considered as the main focus for development.  CPD and performance management are closely linked and are supported through training opportunities linked to the School Improvement Plan.  The School will make every attempt at disseminating CPD information as this is vital if CPD is to have a significant impact on raising standards.
