Cardiff and Vale Schools Tumble and Vault Championships

Llantwit Major School Gymnastics team were successful yet again in the regional schools gymnastics competition held on 24^th January in the Welsh Institute of Sport.  They took 24 pupils in total from years 7-12.  The biggest successes of the day came from Lizzie Dare(year 8)  and Llewelyn Brown  (year 7) who both had the highest scores overall across the four categories in their age group.  This gave them a gold medal each and helped the U13 boys and U13 girls team take the bronze team medal, which the team and school were delighted with.  Both pupils will be selected to represent the county at the upcoming welsh championships.  Well done – we look forward to more medals!
