Llantwit Major School

The Memorial Hall welcomed dancers from across the Vale to their annual celebration of dance in schools. Over 600 young people from 39 schools were invited to showcase their talents in aid of the Memorial Hall and Theatre Trust.

Llantwit Major had two groups representing the school – both winners of the School Eisteddfod in their age group.

The junior section saw Rhian Jenkins, Kathryn Llewelyn, Holly Perini, Lara Tombs, Sa’ra Beleznay and Elen Jenkins dance to a medley of modern music. 

They included street dance, jazz, ballet and some swing – well done girls, fantastic!

The seniors included Megan Davies, Megan Llewelyn, Danielle Darch, Megan Davies, Bethan Flynn, Ella Hughes, Abbie Bradbury, Rebecca Bown, Danielle Fowler, Jamie Livingstone and Glenn O Leary. 

The group worked very hard to adapt the piece and late arrival Megan Llewelyn (Yr 9) being a welcome extra – well done everyone, a great night for danicing!
