The Drama Club perform every year for a packed house on Open Evening.

It is quite a challenge to rehearse as the event takes place very early on in the Autumn Term and it is usual to have only two rehearsals before the performance.

Drama Club is a popular extra - curricular activity throughout the year but particularly in September when so many new children join the school.

The Drama Department believes that participating in the Open Evening Performance is an ideal way for Yr 7 to settle quickly into the life of the school as they meet lots of new people and gain more confidence.

It is also great to see in some cases over 200 pupils on stage presenting a positive image of the school for such an important event!
