Fast Track GCSE Art Year 9

Eight Year 9 girls showed extreme commitment to the art department last year

They took part in many projects and clubs while working tremendously hard in their art lessons to produce work of an exemplary standard. As a result I invited them to take GCSE Art and Design specialising in Textiles.

The girls begin the course with a study of the Tie and Dye methods. They will explore Tie Dye methods and techniques, experiment with their own ideas and produce an outcome based on their findings.

They will need to document their findings and designs in a sketchbook. Some of the sketch book pages will be displayed here in the forthcoming weeks so don't forget to come back to this page for updates.

I am very proud of the work they have produce so far, their continued dedication will help them achieve the grades they deserve.
